Larkhill Tipis and Yurts, established in 2003, is a 20 acre eco-friendly smallholding located in beautiful countryside near Cardigan Bay with fantastic views over the Teifi Valley. Set on the edge of four acres of woodland with meandering pathways, numerous wood carvings, a quartz stone circle and a laburnum avenue leading into a seven ringed labyrinth, are five different nomadic structures - a Mongolian Ger, a Bentwood Yurt, an Alachigh (a stunning dome-like structure), an 18' Tipi and a Lavvu which is used by the Sami tribe in Scandinavia. All of the accommodation has comfortable beds and furnishings, with woodburning stoves in all of the accommodation. All necessary equipment is supplied. The site is powered by alternative energy which has been developed over the last twenty five years. We have rare breed Boreray sheep and a variety chickens and turkeys. Facilities include a well equipped communal log cabin, a play area for children, hot showers and toilets. This is a quiet location, ideal for families and couples looking for a relaxed alternative and sustainable holiday.
