Larkhill Tipis and Yurts is an award winning 20 acre eco-friendly smallholding located in beautiful countryside near Cardigan Bay, West Wales, with fantastic views over the Teifi Valley. Set on the edge of four acres of woodland with meandering pathways, meditation corners and numerous wood carvings are five different nomadic structures, including a Mongolian Ger and a Bentwood yurt. Both have their own 'space', surrounded by mature shrubs, and all are interconnected with home made stepping stones. Both the Ger and the Yurt have woodburning stoves to keep you toasty and warm, have comfortable beds (one double and two singles) and colourful furnishings, including sheepskins, large cushions and pillows. There is also a small calor gas stove, small table and a chest full of blankets. The campsite is totally 'off grid,' powered by wind and solar energy, which has been developed over the last twenty five years. LED lighting is in situ in both the Ger and the Yurt as well as hanging lanterns. Outside each of the accommodation is a campfire area with seating and picnic benches. As a small holding we have rare breed Boreray sheep, a variety of chickens and turkeys. Facilities include a well equipped communal log cabin, a play area in a woodland setting for children, two hot showers and toilets. All cooking equipment and camping paraphernalia is supplied.
